Round-up: Notable, recent digital health hires

Castlight Health, a healthcare transparency company, announced that it had appointed Mark Sarbiewski as its new chief marketing officer. Sarbiewski joins the company from San Francisco-based Anaplan, a cloud-based planning platform for finance, sales, and operations, where he was the company's first chief marketing officer.

Fitbit has hired Jonah Becker as its new Vice President of Industrial Design, a role that reports directly to CEO and Co-Founder James Park. Becker joins Fitbit from HTC, a company that acquired One & Co., where Becker was chief designer.

Omada Health announced that it had hired Jocelyn Ding, the former Vice President for Enterprise Operations at Google, as its Senior Vice President of Operations and Client Services. In her role, Ding will ensure Omada's enterprise customers (health plans and large employers) experience seamless deployments of the company's flagship offering, Prevent.

Vitals has appointed Kyle Raffaniello, former Chief Strategy Officer and Executive Vice President of ValueOptions, as its first Chief Revenue Officer (CRO). At ValueOptions Raffaniello was responsible for profits across all lines of business and she helped grow revenue more than 40 percent. Prior to ValueOptions, she was Senior Vice President, Sales and Marketing for Consortium Health Plans, an organization focused on driving national account growth and retention for the nation’s 20 largest Blue Cross Blue Shield plans.

Glooko added two new executives to its team: Serdar Akin, VP of Product Development, and Michelle de Haaff, VP of Marketing & Customer Success. Akin most recently spent 15 years in executive roles at Symantec’s Global Enterprise Security Group and at Intuit Health. De Haaff joins Glooko from Medallia, an enterprise customer experience SaaS company where she led marketing.

COR Medical Technologies (COR) hired John Scott as its Chief Technology Officer. Scott was previously the Group President at Andrew Corporation in Chicago.

HealthSpot added a few new executives to its team: Dr. Gail Borgati Croall is its new Chief Medical Officer, Eric Eichenser is now Chief Technology Officer and Bruce Roberts is now Chief Operations Officer. Croall previously served as Senior Vice President and CMO for Anthem, OptumHealth, a UnitedHealth company. Eichensehr previously worked at Microsoft, General Electric, Cisco Systems, and Intel. Roberts has founded and owned four pharmacies, and during his tenure as the CEO of the National Community Pharmacist Association (NCPA), Roberts helped co-found SureScripts.
