The Series C raise comes less than a year after the company secured $50 million in a Series B funding round.

The companies will build foundation models and genAI applications aimed at improving patient care and medical diagnostics.

The tech giant, UW School of Medicine and Public Health, Mass General Brigham and UW Health will develop multimodal AI foundation models utilizing Azure and Nuance.

The companies plan to reduce burnout and support diagnosis efficiency through new AI-powered applications.  

The company also finalized its acquisition of fellow AI-powered radiology quality assurance company CoRead.

It seeks to use AI to improve the accuracy of an information-extracting method for structuring radiology reports.

Its AI imaging solutions are coming soon to CARPL.ai's platform. 

Us2.ai announced a similar partnership with Aidoc in October.

The proof of concept trial will include both Lunit's AI solutions for chest x-ray and mammography analyses.

The new tool measures the diameter of the ventricles of the heart to provide the ratio of the maximum right ventricle diameter compared with the left ventricle. That can help indicate pulmonary embolism severity.
