Dubai Health Authority
The integration with the Dubai Health Authority reportedly makes the emirate one of the first cities in the world to implement full digital verification of traveller COVID-19 medical records.
The technology by Singaporean company, Breathonix can reportedly produce results within 60 seconds by detecting Volatile Organic Compounds [VOCs] in a patient’s exhaled breath.
The authority said that it is currently collaborating with Enpy, a Dubai-based startup that specialises in medical artificial Intelligence (AI), to improve remote patient monitoring.
The aim is to use the technology to track daily patient data and “plan interventional strategies in real-time to avoid complications of the disease,” the centre said.
