fitness benefits
The subscription fitness class booking platform said that these new funds will drive further expansion in existing and new markets.
Flaner's newly acquired employees will be housed in a new "Tech Hub" the Brazil-grown unicorn will be establishing in Lisbon.
Founded in 2012, the startup currently has more than 2,000 clients and is active across 14 countries.
Along with expanding its brand and business, the new funding will also go toward support of the company's Medicare Advantage product, Peerfit Move.
The platform, which allows users to redeem tokens for fitness classes, previously was only available to employers.
The funding round is led by Ark Applications and PAR, and joined by Boston Celtics owner Wyc Grousbeck.
