The health insurer's virtual care portfolio company MDLIVE will implement Bright.md's asynchronous offerings into its platform in 2024.
The virtual care company plans to add devices that can transmit metrics like blood pressure or glucose levels to MDLIVE's patient portal later this year.
Set to close in Q2, the deal will provide the payer's healthcare services subsidiary with an integrated virtual care offering.
