It's official — Eric Carreel, cofounder of French health tech company Withings, has bought back Nokia’s digital health division two years after it was sold to the Finnish tech giant.

Almost exactly two years after Nokia acquired French health technology company Withings, it has announced that it is in negations to sell its digital health division back to Withings cofounder Éric Carreel.

Less than two years after Nokia ventured into digital health territory with its acquisition of French health tech company Withings, the Finnish company could be on the verge of selling off its digital health division, according to reports from a French publication, Les Echos.

Nokia has announced that it will disable the pulse wave velocity measurement feature on its Withings’ Body Cardio scale as of January 24.

Apple is booting all products from Nokia subsidiary Withings from its online and physical retail stores, which have been selling connected smart scales and blood pressure monitors.
