During a discussion at the HLTH 2022 conference, panelists said that companies need to refocus their business models due to an anticipated lack of funding.

Watertown, Massachusetts-based Firefly Health has closed its $40 million Series B funding round, led by Andreessen Horowitz.

This brings the company's total valuation to $1.7 billion. 

The startup said that the new funding will go towards expanding into all 50 states. 

This news comes just months after it closed its $25 million Series B round. 

Icon Ventures led the round with participation from Sequoia, Oak HC/FT, Spring Mountain Capital, Female Founders Fund and Harmony Partners.
