A new study published in the Lancet found that patients using VR therapy had a significant reduction in agoraphobic avoidance and distress compared to participants receiving usual care.

The new platform is powered by Oxford University spinout OxfordVR. 

The program puts patients in virtual social situations, and a virtual coach guides them through tasks.

The round was led by Optum Ventures, with support from Luminous Ventures and previous investors.
