The sale comes four months after The Pill Club paid an $18.3 million settlement for alleged Medicaid fraud in California.
According to the state authorities, the online birth control company billed Medi-Cal for services it didn't provide and dispensed female condoms to beneficiaries who didn't request them.
The Pill Club allows users to order birth control online and have it sent directly to their home.
The Pill Club, a company that provides telemedicine and mail-order pharmacy services to help women access birth control, has raised $51 million in Series B funding, bringing its total funding up to $67 million.
