San Diego-based remote physical therapy company Reflexion Health today announced the launch of two digital rehabilitation products: the VERAHome for post-acute care physical therapy patients, and the VERAClinic for their clinicians.

Reflexion Health, a company that develops a platform for remote physical therapy, will be working with non-profit Los Angeles Jewish Home (LAJH) to bring virtual rehabilitation to seniors in the latter’s care.

San Diego, California-based Reflexion Health has received FDA 510(k) clearance for its digital physical therapy tool, called Vera, which uses Microsoft Kinect motion-tracking to help patients with musculoskeletal rehabilitation.

The new Kinect, the second generation of Microsoft's motion capture camera technology, has been making healthcare headlines for nearly a year now as a few select companies were able to tinker with prototypes.
