The alliance merges DarioHealth's cardiometabolic and behavioral AI-powered health offering with GreenKey's system for managing obstructive sleep apnea.  

The research initiative aims to enhance the Galaxy Watch’s sleep apnea detection feature and ultimately create AI-powered tools for proactive sleep health management.

The Watch Series 10 feature is designed to detect moderate to severe sleep apnea, and AirPods Pro 2 provides OTC access to Apple's AI-powered hearing aid software.

The Series 10 will detect sleep apnea using breathing analysis algorithms. AirPods Pro 2 will automatically adjust to a user's needs according to findings from a hearing test taken using the iPhone and AirPods.

It is a simple and low-cost model that promotes the early detection of the condition.

Data is collected via a sensor on a user's chin during sleep and analyzed using AI to aid in diagnosing sleep apnea or other sleep-related conditions.

The UK-based wearable medical device company plans to use the funds to expand in Europe and North America.

The BUZUD smartwatches can also measure blood oxygen levels, blood pressure, and heart rate.

ResMed is launching the AirSense 11 in the U.S. first, with additional locations to follow.
