After spending hundreds of millions to acquire some of the leading health tracking platforms in the market a year ago, Under Armour is upping the ante again, this time on the hardware side, with a new suite of health devices, its calling UA HealthBox.
Less than a year after Under Armour and HTC announced a partnership to create digital health products for athletes, a report has surfaced that the companies plan to launch a smart scale, according to AndroidHeadlines.
As part of a new partnership with the National Basketball Association, Under Armour will help the sporting organization develop a new consumer app, called NBA Fit.

HTC has announced that it will postpone the launch of its activity tracker, called HTC Grip, which was first unveiled in March and projected to launch in the spring, according to CNET.
Under Armour continues to grow its membership base for what it's calling its Connected Fitness business -- the three apps the company acquired in the past two years as well as its existing UA Record app -- even as the company explores its new acquisitions and plots a course forward, according to the company's first quarter earnings call.
