Healthcare investment firm Patient Square Capital now owns approximately three-quarters of Eargo's outstanding common stock.
The funding brings the Munich-based startup's total Series B raise to €42 million.
It plans to hire more talent and pursue M&A opportunities to scale.
According to the Israeli news site Calcalist, Amwell is in talks to purchase Talkspace for around $1.50 per share.
The company will use the investment to expand its product specialist and client engagement teams.
In the suit, the digital mental health company said ousted cofounder Kyle Robertson defaulted on a nearly $50 million loan he took out from Cerebral early this year.
Also, Edenlux is now providing AI-generated eye health reports in its mobile app.

It will use its fresh funds to accelerate staff hiring.
The company will use the investment to deploy its technology in more healthcare facilities.
The funding comes a year after the payment startup announced a $15 million Series A.
