Coreline Soft tapped for France's nationwide lung cancer pilot
South Korean company Coreline Soft has been chosen as the exclusive provider of AI chest X-ray analysis software for a national lung screening pilot study in France.
The 6 million euro ($7 million) IMPULSION pilot, sponsored by the Greater Paris University Hospitals (AP-HP) and the French National Cancer Institute (INCa), will deploy Coreline Soft's cloud-based AVIEW platform across more than 100 sites. Coreline Soft will also lead user training with the French Society of Radiology.
Since receiving a CE mark under the European Union Medical Device Regulation (EU MDR) in 2024, Coreline Soft has provided its AI software to national lung cancer screening projects in Germany, Italy, and the Netherlands. It also supplied its technology to two French hospitals, Bichat-Claude Bernard Hospital and Foch Hospital, under separate contracts last year.
Tricog to scale ECG AI with Omron in India
Omron Healthcare has made another undisclosed investment in Indian startup Tricog Health, supporting the expanded deployment of their AI-driven remote monitoring service for heart failure patients.
Tricog received an initial investment from the global medical device company in 2023. Since then, they have jointly developed and launched the remote heart monitoring service, KeeboHealth, featuring AI-powered ECG analytics and connected ECG devices.
Zydus-owned robotic arm for knee surgery gets CE mark
Zydus-owned Amplitude Surgical, a surgical technology company based in France, has obtained regulatory approval under the EU MDR for its robotic arm for orthopaedic surgery.
The CE mark for the robotic arm, Andy, followed the Indian big pharma's acquisition of Amplitude in July as part of its international expansion.
Medit to add AI intelligence to dental scans
South Korean company Medit has announced a new partnership to embed AI-powered clinical risk analysis into its digital dentistry platform.
Based on a press release, it partnered with Canada-based OraQ to integrate AI-driven risk intelligence into routine 3D scan workflows, providing dental clinicians with actionable insights during chairside assessments.
