The new model is designed for scalability, allowing Aidoc to develop and refine AI solutions quicker and permit radiologists to make decisions using real-time data.  

The funds will be used to develop a comprehensive AI imaging model powered by imaging data to improve diagnostic precisions and early detection of conditions.

Aidoc will integrate Us2.ai's algorithm for analyzing echocardiograms into its proprietary operating system.

The round comes nearly a year after the company announced a $66 million Series C.

Also: Anumana receives FDA Breakthrough Device Designation for its ECG-based algorithm designed for early detection of pulmonary hypertension, and AI-enabled imaging companies Aidoc and Gleamer partner.

This marks Aidoc's second FDA 510(k) so far this year.

The software automatically flags cases of pneumothorax, or a collapsed lung, on X-rays for more efficient triage.

The companies said the technology will allow for earlier detection of breast cancer.

This brings the company's total raise to $140 million. 

Quantib and Ezra's automated tools support diagnosis and measurement of the prostate and prostate lesions, while Aidoc's algorithm acts as an always-on catch net for unsuspected blockage of pulmonary arteries.
