At AWE2024 in Long Beach, California, Fundamental VR announced it has incorporated AI into its surgical training platform, and HouseCall VR relayed it has signed an agreement with the University of Georgia College of Pharmacy.

The platform allows surgeons to analyze radiographic images in 3D to prepare for procedures.

FundamentalVR adds four women to its executive team, Eleanor Health announces three new hires, and Cue Health appoints two members to its board of directors.  

The virtual reality startup said the investment brings its total raise to more than $30 million.

‘Teaching Space' allows multiple users to meet in a virtual classroom to conduct interactive teaching sessions and lectures remotely.

New @HomeVR modality makes accredited simulations available on standalone headsets. 

Over 30 institutions in the UK are said to be using the company's platform.

A multicentre trial of their system will start this week in the south of England, according to the company.

OssoVR is working with Smith & Nephew to make a training program for robotic surgery, while FundamentalVR is working with VR glove-maker HaptX.
